UCCD MINISTRY IN
NICARAGUA
In 1992, what started as a center to feed hungry children became, the school Colegio UCCD, that now has the prestige of being one of the best schools in Nicaragua. It holds 1,100 students that range from preschool to high school years. It offers its students superior education which brings about a transformative opportunity for the whole community.

More than 25,000 children have been educated here since 1992 and many of our students continue their education in different universities. Many of our former students have become professionals (architects, journalists, lawyers, teachers, to name a few); some have returned to Colegio UCCD as teachers. Through the darkness, we have been able to provide a tangible example of the transforming love of Christ.
Pastor Jose Luis Soto visits each classroom to give motivational speeches to our students. He challenges the young students to reach their dreams and to continue on to the university, to not only become professionals, but to also be a light to the nations.
